What is aventu?
aventu is an app with interactive audiobooks for children. Your child listens to a story and, at certain points, decides out loud what happens next. Each decision leads to a different part of the story.
Does aventu record my child's voice?
No. Speech is processed on your device. The microphone is on only while the story waits for an answer, and we use the answer only to pick the next part of the story. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent.
Is it really screen-free?
Yes. Once a story starts, the screen can be turned away or put down. Children follow the story by listening and answer by speaking.
Can aventu help my child learn?
The stories are designed to practise listening, language, critical thinking, creativity and emotional skills. Making choices also shows children that decisions have consequences.
Who makes the stories?
A team of authors and educators. We use modern tools, including AI, to speed up production, but people come up with, write and shape every story.
